- Semuc Champney - Peten (Flores)
Riding on great roads we continue towards Flores. We are now in the
Peten, this northern part of Guatemala occupies a third of the country
but has less than three percent of the population.
- Tikal Today we visit the Great Tikal. This was the Heartland of the Mayen civilization
Mayan culture reached the height of its architectural, scientific, and artistic achievements during the "classic period" (300-900AD), when great cities rose from the forest
- Flores - Rio Dulce
Destination Rio Dulce, several kilometers before our arrival we stop at a hidden sanctuary that few know of in the Finca Paraiso.
Here we relax and swim in thermal waters whilst watching great waterfalls
- Day Trip - Livingstone
After breakfast we take a short trip to see the Castillo de San Felipe, which was constructed at the mouth of lake Isabel by the Spanish to keep the British out.
After this we take a boat ride along the Rio Dulce to Livingstone where we experience a very different lifestyle of the Garifuna community
- Rio Dulce - Antigua
