The Highlander is about great destinations. Apart from the well known tourist stops, we also know some very special places like Fuentes Georginas and Nebaj. If you want location with relaxing convenience this is worth considering. Altitude and incredible vantage points are also included on this very special ride.
  DAY 1 - COLLECTION
Welcome to Guatemala! You will be collected from the airport and after a drive of around 45 mins you will arrive in Antigua and be taken to the Bikers Lodge.

DAY 2 - RIDE AND CLIMB PACAYA
This morning we will get straight into some riding to get used to the Bikes you will be using over the coming week. It's a 2hr ride out to the Volcan De Pacaya, this is where we leave the bikes and start our climb on foot. There are some amazing land formations and flowing lava to be seen.

DAY 3 - ANTIGUA TO CHICICASTENANGO
Chicicastenango is a colourful market town in the highlands of Guatemala, certainly a must see during your time here. Our journey from Antigua takes us through some great panoramic dirt roads and off roads, primarily avoiding highways. You will have free time here in the afternoon to explore this great town.

DAY 4 - CHICICASTENANGO TO NEBAJ
This morning you will have a few hours free to explore the famous Chicicastenango markets, expect to see many archeological artifacts, and colourful clothing, you never know what you may find on the next stall! At 12.30pm we will depart for our next destination, Nebaj, the highlands of Quiche, now you are really exploring Guatemala! Nebaj, a real hidden gem of Guatemala.
DAY 5 - NEBAJ TO FUENTES GEORGINAS
Fuentes Georginas, an exceptional location in the province of Quetzaltenango (2,200 m). This is where you can relax in the hot springs before spending the night in log cabins.

DAY 6 - FUENTES GEORGINAS TO LAKE ATITLAN
Another great day of riding, another superb destination. San Pedro Laguana, a village on the shores of Lake Atitlan. San Pedro Laguna is a wonderful, quiet lakeside setting, a great place to relax and have a massage, or if you still have the energy, you could take a kayak out onto the lake for a few hours.
DAY 7 - LAKE ATITLAN TO ANTIGUA
We continue and finalize our tour riding around the South side of the lake passing through volcanoes with many panoramic views back to our destination of Antigua.
